We are Marijke & Colin and we work with Australian opal for quite a few years now.
Colin has been a goldsmith for 18 years, he cuts the opal and sets it into jewellery. Marijke thinks along and is responsible for the website and social media.
We buy rough Australian opals directly from Australian opal miners and we love to turn the rough into gemstones and jewellery. We are very grateful that we have been able to turn our passion into our work and that we’re making a lot of people happy with our creations!
We're located in Europe but our creations travel all over the world.
More about our goldsmith Colin
As a child I loved to be creative and I was fascinated by minerals and gemstones. When I found out that there was a way to combine these two interests the choice was quickly made. I attended a vocational school (Zadkine Vakschool Schoonhoven, NL) to become a goldsmith and I graduated in 2011. After that I could quickly get started as a goldsmith at a jewelry store, I did this for 6 years. In 2018 I was given the opportunity to start my own studio and to fully focus on my own work. From that moment I started specializing in working with Australian opals.
